Los Enoloz Garnacha Rosé 2015
This Garnacha Rosé was produced in Toro with the grapes of one of the oldest vineyards in the area (prephyloxera). The grapes were harvested in small boxes and underwent fermentation for 3 weeks at controlled temperature. The flavours of red fruit and violets evolved during fermentation into black- forest fruit aromas. When the fermentation finished the wine was racked and no fining or any correction was needed. It was sterile filtered to prevent spoilage during transportation.
The result: Amazing pink colour with blue hues. Clean and bright, amazing strong flavours to blackberry and blueberries, also some strawberry ice cream at the finish. Soft but tasty in the mouth, with intense expression of red fruit and very long persistency in the mouth. Well balanced in the acidity and rounded.
Yes it is a rose but not as you know it…
